Who won the ipad?

At the Specialist Media Show last month Pixel Mags ran a competition to win an ipad - they have just announced the winners...

Sue Baggaley, MD of CSL Publishing Ltd, who publish marine and outdoor titles including Jetskier & PW and SportsBoat &RIB, has won the ipad.

I am delighted to have won the iPad in the Pixel Mags competition running at the Specialist Media Show.  I was planning on buying one as I am keen to offer our consumer magazines in an app as soon as possible. Like most publishing houses CSL is very excited about the technology as it offers new revenue streams, which is always welcome.
I was pleased to see a good mix of exhibitors at the show, some we do business with already and others that were offering exciting new products that we were unaware of.  I am sure the show will grow next year as the venue, and access to it, is superb.

Kate Barratt, Online Marketing Manager at MyHobbystore, who serve the crafts and hobby enthusiast with magazines, websites, events and ecommerce, won a £50 itunes voucher

It was lovely to visit a show that was more intimate than those generally held in Central London and have a chance to speak to exhibitors in depth. I talked to a few companies that provide iphone/ipad applications, in particular for magazines; I especially enjoyed speaking to Pixel Mags and am delighted to have won an itunes voucher. With these applications being at the forefront of everyone’s minds at the moment, it was great to have the opportunity to meet and discuss the technology with these companies and explore the options available. I would definitely recommend visiting this show next year!

Jayne Creer from Crest Publications won a £20 itunes voucher.
