Conference Networking

The 2010 conference was attended by MDs and senior directors from specialist media businesses from across the UK

All delegates were invited to join the Specialist Media Network before the show, to make contact and swap ideas.

Round table discussions provided an opportunity to discuss topics like events, mobile, social media and video with experts and peers.

The breakfast preview of the exhibition, and lunchtime break allowed delegates to meet in the media cafe and catch up with old colleagues

After the show, we are sure you will want to continue swapping ideas, tips and suggestions on suppliers with your peers.  This site will become the hub of that community, with the Specialist Media Network on Linked-in providing a forum for discussion.

We'll keep you updated with industry news through our regular newsletters.  And if you have suggestions for one-off events on specific topics, just let us know.

2010 delegates included directors from Absolute Radio, Accession, Advanstar, Archant, Bauer Specialist, BPG, Brad, Centaur, Circle, CSL Publishing, David Hall Publishing, Dorset Life, Econsultancy, Evention, Factory Media, Fish & Fly, Greenstarmedia, Hayward Medical, Incisive, Indaba Events, Intent Media, Insider Media, IPC Media, Magicalia, Mirror Group, Mortons, MyHobbystore, Ocean Media, PPA, RBI, RSC, Signature, Sift, Stable, Spectator, SubHub, TF Connect, Time Out, VBD, Warners and Wessenden.

What delegates thought of the 2010 conference

You did a grand job at a time the industry is still in flux. Spot on timing. It was lovely to catch up with colleagues I've not seen for a while. Many thanks for a stimulating day.

Riva Elliott, MD, PMA training

Both Mike and I found the day well spent, returning both inspired and having made some good contacts. The inspiration alone was worth the time away from the office through what is enough of a demanding time for everyone in publishing.

Alison Queenborough, Publishing Director BPG
